Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR, English, Business, or related discipline; master’s preferred.
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience in internal, corporate, or change communications.
- Experience in professional services, healthcare, consulting, or complex matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated experience building, transforming, or scaling an internal communications function or enterprise program.
- Strong strategic judgment aligning communications with business objectives, culture, and change programs.
- Exceptional writing and editing capabilities for executive communications and diverse audiences.
- Strong facilitation, advisory, and executive coaching skills.
- Experience establishing communication governance, message architecture, and channel standards.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment.
- Proficiency in using communication metrics and employee feedback to refine strategies.
- Familiarity with emerging communication technologies and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the enterprise internal communications strategy, operating model, governance, and communication standards.
- Build and maintain an enterprise communications calendar for strategic priorities and organizational changes.
- Develop messaging frameworks, narratives, voice guidelines, and toolkits to ensure consistent communication.
- Translate complex business and change-related topics into clear, actionable communications.
- Partner with Talent, Transformation, and IT to support change readiness and organizational alignment.
- Coach executives and leaders on communication strategy, audience considerations, and employee engagement.
- Establish feedback mechanisms and measurement systems to evaluate communication effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to simplify communication channels and reduce information noise.
- Explore emerging technologies and AI tools to improve communication efficiency and personalization.
