Requirements
- 7+ years of professional backend software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis database design, query optimization, and caching.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalable architecture, and load balancing.
- Experience with message queues and event-driven systems (e.g., RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka).
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, scalable, and reliable backend applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT and OAuth-based approaches.
- Develop data processing pipelines, background jobs, and backend workflows that support reliable product functionality.
- Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, migrations, queries, and data structures, with a primary focus on MongoDB and Redis.
- Deploy and manage backend applications across cloud environments including AWS and GCP.
- Effectively leverage AI-assisted development tools as part of daily engineering activities to improve productivity and development quality.
