Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field.
- 8 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience.
- 4 or more years of experience with specialty products in the orphan or rare disease space.
- Strong understanding of payer landscape, payer accounts, and market access.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and resolve complex challenges.
- Experience in field reimbursement, patient access, or market access strategy preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Mirum stakeholders on territory strategy regarding payer policy and MAP processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement landscapes, including payer policies, prior authorizations, denials, and appeals.
- Provide targeted education to HCP office staff on Mirum Access Plus and access navigation.
- Support HCP accounts with patient-specific, payer policy education for prior authorizations and appeals.
- Collaborate with MAP supervisors on case management and troubleshoot HCP access issues.
- Conduct access-related business reviews with high-volume HCP accounts.
- Support improvement and training of MAP Patient Navigators via feedback and call calibration.
