Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on engineering experience in design, permitting, and feasibility studies.
- Experience with civil site design projects including public/private utilities, stormwater, roadways, and grading.
- Experience partnering with clients as an engineering consultant.
- Experience with large-scale site design of industrial, manufacturing, or production facilities.
- Experience as technical lead/designer on waterfront and coastal engineering projects.
- Ability to perform coastal conditions calculations and structural analyses.
- Experience planning and constructing coastal shoreline protection and stabilization projects.
- Knowledge of regulations related to marine infrastructure and coastal engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale multi-discipline civil site design and construction activities across various industries.
- Oversee the completion of technical engineering activities from strategic planning through project closure.
- Prepare feasibility studies, technical design reports, and engineering cost estimates.
- Oversee the preparation of construction drawings, including site grading, paving, utilities, stormwater, wastewater, and water distribution systems.
- Engage and collaborate with diverse technical service areas to provide engineering solutions.
- Participate in regular client meetings as a trusted partner.
- Delegate tasks to a multi-disciplined team of technicians, engineers, and scientists.
- Mentor and coach team members of various experience levels.
- Lead subcontractors for design and construction activities.
