- Valid California SIP (Self-Insurance Administrator) license.
- Demonstrated knowledge of California workers compensation laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims on behalf of clients.
- Take statements from relevant parties.
- Issue lost wage payments as required.
- Complete necessary state filings.
- Handle claims denials and subrogation.
- Manage litigation processes.
- Communicate with CEOs, claimants, providers, and attorneys.
