Requirements
- 8+ years of professional QA or test engineering experience.
- At least 1 year working with contact center, CCaaS, IVR, or voice platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect or comparable CCaaS platforms.
- Strong proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Experience testing serverless and event-driven AWS architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions).
- Practical understanding of conversational AI and voice testing considerations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Strong defect documentation, investigation, and triage skills.
- Comfortable facilitating UAT sessions and working with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work full-time during UK business hours.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute QA strategies for Amazon Connect implementations, including contact flows, routing, and IVR.
- Develop test plans for AI-driven conversational agents, focusing on intent recognition and latency.
- Validate contact center migrations from platforms like Avaya, Genesys, or NICE.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Test serverless AWS components including Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, and DynamoDB.
- Monitor quality metrics and conduct production-readiness testing for live contact center releases.
- Lead UAT sessions with customer stakeholders and manage defect resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and create reusable testing patterns and assets.
