Requirements
- 7–10 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Extensive backend engineering experience with the ability to work across the full stack.
- Proven track record of taking products or major features from 0 to 1.
- Experience designing backend architectures, APIs, databases, and distributed services.
- Demonstrated ownership and ability to make independent engineering decisions.
- Active use of AI tools and AI-assisted workflows in day-to-day engineering.
- Experience building projects using AI, LLMs, or AI-powered development tools.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments where processes are not fully defined.
- Ability to translate product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of technology to establish foundations for a 0-to-1 product.
- Design, build, and evolve robust backend systems, including APIs, services, and databases.
- Contribute across the full stack when required to deliver product outcomes.
- Partner with the founding team to shape product direction and technical strategy.
- Take features from initial idea through production, testing, deployment, and iteration.
- Make practical technology choices balancing scalability, simplicity, and speed.
- Own the reliability, performance, and security of production systems.
- Use AI extensively in engineering workflows to improve development speed and quality.
