Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical or electronics engineering, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or equivalent degree.
- 3+ years of experience with NodeJS and JavaScript.
- Experience administering complex systems/integrations such as Canvas LMS, SIS, and Clever.
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience developing open standards-based solutions, web services, and web applications.
- Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, EC2, CloudFront, Redshift) and AWS API.
- Experience with Git version control and Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with ticket tracking and resolution.
- Understanding of message queue technology and design patterns.
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and test software solutions for K-12 schools’ learning environment.
- Design, implement and test RESTful web services using NodeJS, Google Apps Script, and Postman.
- Maintain application environments using various Amazon Web Services (AWS) services.
- Analyze, resolve technical application problems, and provide troubleshooting support for production issues.
- Administer systems including SIS, LMS, and third-party integrations.
- Perform routine maintenance, application updates, and coordinate with vendors on maintenance impacts.
- Create and maintain documentation and provide training to corporate as needed.
