Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or extended relevant industry experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a related discipline
- Basic clinical trial knowledge
- Strong Excel skills
- Understanding of budget and payment setup configurations
- Fluency in English and at least one additional European language
- Written and oral language fluency involving legal, medical, and scientific terminology
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sponsor Investigator Payments Lead (IPL) to ensure payment requirements for each study are clearly defined and documented
- Review and interpret global clinical payment documents, including Clinical Study Agreements, budgets, amendments, and Budget Modification Letters, to extract payment information for budget configuration templates
- Configure payment schedules accurately by distinguishing between data-driven and manual payment line items
- Support the correct setup of sites within the investigator payment system to facilitate timely and accurate payments
- Escalate ambiguous payment information and collaborate with contract negotiators to obtain clarification and resolution
- Follow up with research sites regarding payee form completion, corrections, or modifications
- Collaborate effectively with internal business partners to support payment and budget setup activities
- Create and upload completed budget configuration templates to the IPS supplier within an average of three business days
- Partner with the Investigator Payments Lead to track missing or incomplete documents
- Track issues and document resolutions to support process transparency and compliance
