Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience building and running an internal communications strategy.
- Proven track record of building and executing communication strategies, ideally at a high-growth company.
- Strong writer and storyteller with the ability to translate complex or sensitive topics into clear, human messaging.
- Capacity to operate at both high-level strategic and hands-on execution levels.
- Experience providing executive influence and partnering with C-level and leadership teams.
- Experience partnering with People/HR teams on sensitive organizational communications.
- Excellent judgment and prioritization skills for managing competing communication requests.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to communicate with appropriate energy and tone.
- Creative approach with the willingness to take risks and experiment with new communication formats.
- Curiosity and sound judgment in applying AI to improve efficiency and work quality.
Responsibilities
- Shape Vanta's internal narrative and ensure key messages land effectively.
- Build and manage internal communications infrastructure including channels, norms, and best practices.
- Manage end-to-end execution of company-wide moments, such as all-hands meetings and major organizational announcements.
- Partner with the People team as a strategic sounding board for high-stakes communications.
- Translate complex topics into clear, effective messaging for the entire organization.
- Collaborate with Marketing and External Communications to ensure narrative alignment.
- Advise the C-team and Leadership Team on communication strategy.
- Measure and iterate on communication strategy using data-informed insights.
- Experiment with new formats and channels to evolve internal communications as the company scales.
