Requirements
- U.S. Secret clearance or above (required).
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
- Proficiency in writing code in Python or Scala.
- Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark, including runtime internals.
- Experience with CI/CD for production deployments.
- Working knowledge of MLOps.
- Proven ability to design and deploy performant end-to-end data architectures.
- Experience in technical project delivery, including managing scope and timelines.
- Strong documentation and white-boarding skills.
- Experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Design and build reference architectures and produce technical documentation for customer use cases.
- Scope professional services engagements in collaboration with engagement managers and customer stakeholders.
- Guide strategic customers through the design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications.
- Bootstrap and implement customer projects to facilitate the successful evaluation and adoption of Databricks.
- Provide escalated levels of support for customer operational issues.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery of technical engagement components.
- Provide product and implementation feedback to internal Engineering and Support teams to drive resolution.
