Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical field (biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering) or equivalent military experience or High School diploma.
- 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel (10% overnight) within assigned territory.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50lb.
- Proficiency with business systems including OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
Responsibilities
- Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment.
- Provide efficient technical service and training to Beckman Coulter customers.
- Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records.
- Order repair parts and adhere to cycle times.
- Utilize business systems such as OBI, Sales Force, and SharePoint for service call planning.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to address unique needs.
- Assist with the training of newer Field Service Engineers.
