Requirements
- High school diploma with 6+ years of experience, associate degree with 4+ years, or bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with 2+ years of experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, contracts, and subcontract agreements.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of job costing, contract file administration, and project revenue.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail and deadline-oriented environment.
- Experience with BST, Deltek, or Wind2 accounting systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret contract provisions to set up accurate project information in the accounting database.
- Verify and edit project rate schedules and demographic data provided by project managers.
- Review and submit employee expense reports to facilitate timely processing.
- Perform electronic timesheet administration and support project billing workflows.
- Generate, edit, and distribute prebill reports and finalize invoices for corporate accounting and clients.
- Track accounts receivable and accounts payable for project processing.
- Assess project revenue, identify variances, and update budgets.
- Maintain documentation according to branch and corporate policies.
