Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in system administration with advanced experience in enterprise environments.
- Top Secret clearance required.
- DoD 8140 certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Advanced expertise in Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, storage solutions, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud migration strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong understanding of security principles, identity/access management, and compliance standards.
- Bachelors Degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT systems, including servers, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure system performance, availability, and security across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, proactively addressing issues.
- Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Implement and enforce security policies, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Provide expert-level support for complex technical issues across systems, networks, and applications.
- Guide and mentor junior administrators and IT support staff.
- Serve as escalation point for critical incidents and outages
