Requirements
- 8-12+ years of previous B2B sales experience with Global 2000, large enterprises in the Energy & Utilities sector.
- Experience negotiating and closing transformational multi-year (2-5 year) SaaS deals in the 7-figure range.
- Track record of high performance and exceeding quota.
- Deep understanding of the Energy & Utilities industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ability to articulate the value of AI and NLP solutions in the context of Energy & Utilities operations.
- Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the Energy & Utilities industry.
- Experience as a technical consultative salesperson, selling complex products like developer tools, APIs, or AI/NLP solutions.
- Experience working with customers during the deployment phase to configure and customize solutions.
- Experience working with channel partners such as cloud hyperscalers and system integrators.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in a self-directed, quickly evolving environment.
- Fantastic communication skills with the ability to speak to the C-suite and both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound activity and relationship building with key stakeholders.
- Act as a consultative, trusted advisor who understands customer challenges, goals, and technology ecosystems.
- Partner with channel partners to scale outreach and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver solutions to large enterprises.
- Work with Sales Development Representatives to drive top-of-funnel activity.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach, proof-of-concept, and deal close through deployment.
