Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 4+ years of professional Electrical Engineering design experience in the construction industry.
- Experience designing power systems for data centers, commercial, manufacturing, or medical buildings.
- Strong understanding of National and International Building Codes and NFPA Standards.
- Advanced knowledge of equipment power requirements, standby and emergency power systems, and generator controls.
- Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM, and Revit.
- Experience working independently and providing mentorship to junior staff.
- Experience with Protective Device Coordination and Arc Flash studies is preferred.
- Experience with Medium Voltage equipment selection is preferred.
- Programming or coding experience is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems and perform necessary engineering calculations.
- Review, sign, and seal project documentation.
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and preparation of record drawings.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and participate in commissioning work.
- Write and edit electrical equipment specifications and select devices.
- Ensure project delivery is accurate, on-time, and within budget.
