Requirements
- 5+ years of compliance, risk management, audit, legal, or financial services experience.
- Working knowledge of consumer protection regulations (e.g., FCRA, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, GLBA, ECOA, Reg E, Reg Z, SCRA).
- Experience reviewing consumer-facing communications, disclosures, or marketing materials.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Jira, and Confluence.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build cross-team relationships.
- Ability to instinctively use AI tools to accelerate work processes.
Responsibilities
- Execute the Compliance Management Program and related policies, procedures, and controls.
- Review marketing materials, consumer-facing content, disclosures, and customer journeys for compliance.
- Perform compliance monitoring and testing to assess adherence to regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct consumer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts.
- Track and evaluate new laws, regulations, and supervisory guidance for regulatory change management.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Legal, and other teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Maintain compliance documentation, risk assessments, and issue logs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
