Requirements
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Proven experience building and shipping AI-powered code to production.
- Experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Vercel AI SDKs.
- Active usage of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in development workflows.
- Deep understanding of current AI models (e.g., Claude, Gemini, GPT) and development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).
- Strong prompt engineering intuition for debugging model hallucinations and instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment if based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside design and product management teams.
- Curiosity and passion for experimenting with emerging AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Advance the MCP server by adding capabilities, tools, and integrations for content platform interaction.
- Build agentic developer tools to generate Sanity apps, studios, and frontend code.
- Design and execute evaluation suites using Braintrust to measure improvements and regressions.
- Develop MCP-based React interfaces for platforms like ChatGPT and Claude.
- Maintain full-stack capabilities, from designing MCP tools to deploying microservices.
- Apply prompt engineering craft to diagnose model failures and ensure scalability.
- Ship well-tested, production-ready AI features in TypeScript.
