Requirements
- Strong experience in developing and managing academic legal research projects.
- Proven track record in strategic and operational management and planning.
- Successful and sustained international leadership experience.
- Experience in building constructive relationships and engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to design, plan, and facilitate independent research within tight deadlines.
- Expertise in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and managing staff performance.
- Excellent oral communication and English writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Relevant Ph.D. degree or training in academic research skills preferred.
- Strong depth of knowledge in climate change, climate finance, blockchain technology, or artificial intelligence preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Legal Research Officers in providing research support at the intersection of DLT law, renewable energy, and carbon trading.
- Provide technical and strategic leadership for analytical research and set the research agenda for the organization.
- Generate opportunities for strategic research or knowledge partnerships.
- Contribute to the organization as a member of the Executive Committee.
- Manage the Research Division’s time budget to effectively deliver organizational objectives.
- Attend conferences and events to promote BCI, communicate research findings via presentations, and engage with key stakeholders.
