Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Operations or Project Management.
- Experience within a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Hands-on experience using AI at work, with a clear point of view on its capabilities and limitations.
- Proven ability to build and implement operational workflows.
- Ability to evaluate and implement new AI tooling.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build consensus and project manage major cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence (EQ).
- Experience applying operational improvements in Legal or Healthcare contexts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-assisted legal operations workflows to automate non-legal advice work like routing and triage.
- Develop an AI-queryable legal knowledge management system to generate trustworthy first drafts.
- Collaborate across Headway to project manage the legal components of major company initiatives.
- Oversee daily legal department operations to ensure efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Own and evolve the legal team's AI roadmap by evaluating, piloting, and implementing new tools.
- Maintain a vetted library of prompts, skills, and workflows for recurring legal tasks.
- Track department adoption and efficiency gains from new operational tools and processes.
