Requirements
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
- Knowledgeable in empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches, including cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client care and using feedback to improve services.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure wrap-around support for families.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Comply with all state, federal, and licensing board regulations, including HIPAA and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal and company standards.
