Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Ability to obtain cross-state licensure in new states as business needs indicate.
- 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
- Knowledgeable in empirically supported psychotherapy approaches such as CBT, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs, including Narrative Therapy, CBT, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Attend to relational ethics while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Comply with clinic policies and all state, federal, and licensing board regulations.
- Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
