Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
- Knowledge of empirically supported psychotherapy approaches (e.g., CBT, narrative therapy).
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
- Utilize diverse therapeutic approaches such as Narrative Therapy, CBT, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure wrap-around support for families.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Comply with clinic policies and state/federal regulations, including HIPAA and mandated reporting.
- Maintain clinical documentation according to legal and ethical standards.
