Requirements
- Strong, hands-on expertise in TSYS TS2 authorization and transaction processing.
- Proven track record of proactively solving complex platform problems with limited management oversight.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams including Fraud, Product, and Engineering.
- Strong communication skills for presenting recommendations to leadership and external vendors.
- Experience building or maintaining auth monitoring, alerting, and reporting infrastructure.
- Experience developing and executing testing plans for platform changes.
- Ability to travel approximately 4-6 times per year for in-person collaboration.
- SQL proficiency for data analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting preferred.
- Experience optimizing digital wallet and token provisioning configurations preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, configure, and optimize authorization settings, decline rates, and transaction matching across TSYS (TS2) and Visa.
- Partner with Fraud and Product teams on token lifecycle, stand-in processing logic, virtual card management, and authorization policies.
- Map transaction and authorization data across app, web, and agent experiences.
- Manage operational infrastructure including auth monitoring dashboards, Snowflake queries, and TS2 deployment configurations.
- Develop standardized testing approaches for authorization and transaction changes, including testing workbooks and release rigor.
- Provide backup support for Terms, Statements, and Cards functions as needed.
