Requirements
- Strong professional experience with backend development using Java.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Experience handling large volumes of data and complex or high-performance queries.
- Knowledge of modular service architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with automated testing, Git version control, and CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools for code generation and productivity improvement.
- Experience working in digital product teams and agile development environments.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges.
- Experience in health technology companies or technically complex environments is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, SQS, and Beanstalk is desirable.
- Experience with observability, monitoring practices, and SRE principles is a differentiator.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and evolve existing systems with a focus on quality, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Apply strong software architecture knowledge to propose structural improvements and technical solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations between internal and external services, including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following engineering best practices and established technical standards.
- Create and execute automated and unit tests to ensure reliable software delivery.
- Collaborate with product, QA, frontend, and data teams to deliver complete solutions from development to production.
- Participate actively in code reviews, sharing knowledge and helping maintain high technical standards.
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
- Document architectures, workflows, and technical practices to strengthen knowledge sharing.
- Support the development and growth of junior engineers through technical guidance and mentoring.
