Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in life sciences or a related scientific field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of field-based sales experience within life sciences, CDMO, biotechnology, or biopharma environments.
- Proven experience selling human biospecimens, cell therapy, gene therapy, or related scientific products.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
- Strong ability to identify customer needs and provide consultative solutions.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and complex sales cycles.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace.
- Must be located in or near the greater Boston, MA area.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual territory plans to achieve revenue targets and quota goals.
- Prospect and engage with new biopharma, biotech, and research customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their scientific objectives.
- Manage a qualified sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Conduct customer meetings, attend conferences, and participate in trade shows to expand market presence.
- Partner with scientific experts and internal stakeholders to develop proposals and close opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.
