Requirements
- 7–12 years of progressive experience in operations, human resources, nonprofit administration, or organizational management.
- Proven leadership experience partnering with executive teams to develop and execute operational strategies.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state employment regulations, HR compliance, and payroll administration.
- Experience working with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and HR information systems.
- Solid understanding of nonprofit operations, financial management, budgeting, and organizational governance.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, operational policies, and administrative systems.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee financial processes, forecasting, audit preparation, and accounting partner collaboration.
- Experience coordinating IT systems, cybersecurity, and risk management programs.
- Proficiency with tools such as ADP, Google Workspace, Bill.com, Salesforce, or Toggl.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and balance multiple priorities.
- Available to work standard Eastern Time business hours and travel occasionally for meetings.
Responsibilities
- Lead the human resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and manage multi-state registrations.
- Develop and improve organizational policies, standard operating procedures, and administrative systems.
- Drive operational excellence through workflow optimization, risk management, and cybersecurity coordination.
- Support financial planning, including annual budgeting, forecasting, expense monitoring, and audit preparation.
- Maintain effective systems for document management, internal communications, and project coordination.
- Partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives and monitor organizational performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and facilitate staff training and organizational events.
