Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or strategic finance in biotech, pharma, or healthcare.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MS, or equivalent in life sciences, finance, or communications strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in developing IR strategies and managing buy-side/sell-side relationships.
- Deep understanding of pre-commercial biotech environments and clinical development milestones.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for transforming complex data into narratives.
- Strong project management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing PR/IR agencies and coordinating cross-channel initiatives.
- Professional discretion when handling confidential financial and strategic information.
- Comfort representing the organization publicly at industry events and investor meetings.
- Familiarity with SEC regulations and disclosure requirements for biotech companies preferred.
- Experience supporting financing rounds, IPOs, or strategic partnerships preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations strategies and engagement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and media.
- Create investor-facing materials including presentations, press releases, and executive briefs.
- Lead messaging for clinical updates, regulatory developments, and financing activities.
- Manage corporate communication channels and ensure compliant messaging.
- Coordinate investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
- Monitor investor sentiment and market trends to provide insights to leadership.
- Partner with internal teams (Finance, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal) on public disclosures.
- Coach executives for investor discussions and media engagements.
