Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2-3+ years in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role.
- Experience in a product-based, lean startup, preferably in logistics, ecommerce, or B2B SaaS.
- Exceptionally skilled in Python and SQL for producing reusable and scalable code.
- Proven experience identifying system anomalies and turning messy data into clear visualizations.
- First Principles thinking ability to analyze trade-offs and constraints.
- Curious mindset with the ability to dig for root causes.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI tools like Claude or Copilot for QA, automation, and analysis while maintaining manual validation standards.
- Strong ownership mindset with urgency in responding to customer needs.
- Clear communication skills for brainstorming and documentation in a cross-cultural environment.
- Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform documentation, reporting, and root-cause analysis of prediction issues end-to-end.
- Analyze ingested and system-generated data for anomalies and gaps and plug those gaps.
- Turn data into actionable insights by surfacing patterns, proposing fixes, and executing workflow changes or automation.
- Automate performance/accuracy reviews and data visualization using Python and SQL to build reusable workflows.
- Support Engineering and Data Science on system-level data fixes and explore feature improvements.
- Support Customer Operations and Marketing with performance and accuracy metrics and real-time event impacts.
- Maintain internal and customer dashboards for prediction accuracy, timeliness, coverage, and explainability.
