Requirements
- 2+ years of experience, preferably in accounting or accounts receivable
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and G Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with high attention to detail
- Ability to independently research and resolve tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience working in a small team with varied responsibilities
- Comfortable navigating shifting priorities in a hyper-growth environment
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Must be located in the Pacific Time Zone
- Experience working in a fully remote organization is preferred
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact within accounting for all customer-related inquiries
- Manage accounting operations for Stripe and Fazeshift billing and collections platforms
- Resolve internal and customer inquiries via email, phone, Slack, and Zendesk
- Manage follow-ups with delinquent customers and handle write-offs for uncollectible accounts
- Process sales tax exemption forms and assist with monthly sales tax reconciliations and compliance monitoring
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed
- Identify and implement process and documentation improvements
