Requirements
- Two or more years of professional experience, specifically in communications, media, or marketing.
- Strong writing ability to produce clean, accurate, and convincing short-form copy.
- Proven experience engaging with media, including pitching or coordinating press coverage.
- Familiarity with AI research concepts to effectively draft content.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing processes independently.
- Ability to work at least 4 hours per day overlapping with Pacific Time.
- Experience with newsletter tools, social media scheduling (e.g., Typefully), or CMS platforms is a plus.
- Experience running paid social or search advertising campaigns is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics for press inquiries, podcast interviews, and speaking engagements for researchers.
- Own the production workflow for the Epoch Brief newsletter, including formatting, scheduling, and distribution.
- Draft and schedule social media content for X and LinkedIn using management tools.
- Implement content updates and SEO optimizations for the company website.
- Execute and monitor paid ad campaigns on X, LinkedIn, and Google platforms.
- Flag incoming social media inquiries that require attention from researchers or leadership.
