Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in the Go programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, including designing clusters and implementing producers/consumers.
- Experience building and optimizing large-scale distributed systems in a cloud-based environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using Golang.
- Architect scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems for processing and streaming large volumes of data using Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, frontend engineers, and data engineers to define and implement backend solutions.
- Optimize system performance and reliability through continuous monitoring, profiling, and tuning.
- Drive best practices for software development, code reviews, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
