Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
- 4-year university degree OR Nursing Degree.
- Experience in Obesity or Metabolic Disease.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC Systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English.
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must reside in the Central United States or East Coast.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
Responsibilities
- Manage site research activities throughout the lifecycle of clinical research projects.
- Identify potential sites for participation in clinical research efforts.
- Perform study start-up activities including collecting regulatory documents and supporting contract and budget negotiations.
- Train sites on proper data collection and reporting procedures for safety-related events.
- Conduct study initiation visits (SIVs) and manage ongoing site activities during study maintenance.
- Oversee the close-down of research activities once studies are concluded.
- Ensure site compliance with informed consent and all applicable regulatory requirements.
