Requirements
- Proven design leadership experience at a product-led SaaS company within the last 5 years.
- Proven track record of design ownership from discovery through shipped features.
- Demonstrated hands-on design experience within the last 3 years.
- Strong skills in research, briefing, and visual polish.
- Strong product thinking and ability to collaborate with engineering and product leaders.
- Comfort working in a remote, low-bureaucracy, and lean environment.
- Expertise in modern design tools such as Figma and Whimsical.
- Ability to leverage AI tooling for design workflows.
- High agency, ownership, and ability to raise design standards through feedback.
- Prior experience in short-term rental, travel, hospitality, or proptech domains is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and set the overall design vision aligned with long-term company strategy.
- Lead design for the entire platform and maintain the quality bar end-to-end.
- Execute high-stakes design work from discovery and research through to prototyping and visual design.
- Manage and evolve the design system, style guide, and component library.
- Develop and lead a lean, AI-leveraged design team through feedback and high expectations.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to influence product roadmaps and strategy.
- Utilize research, analytics, and customer feedback to inform design decisions and prove impact.
