Requirements
- 2+ years (5+ years for Manager-level) of Field Application experience in biotech tool sales.
- 8+ years (10+ years for Manager-level) of experience in biopharma/biotech process development, transfer, or MSAT.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of viral vector, microbial fermentation, and mammalian cell culture development.
- Project management experience with a track record of successful project completion.
- Ability to influence product development in a matrixed environment.
- Experience working for or with CDMOs is beneficial.
- Strong presentation skills to articulate value propositions.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
Responsibilities
- Engage prospective and existing customers with technical bioreactor and process expertise.
- Lead technical support to facilitate process optimization and project scoping.
- Contribute to project proposals highlighting alignment with customer milestones.
- Provide technical advising for process setup, scale-down models, and AI integration.
- Participate in industry conferences to network and present technical materials.
- Develop and coordinate the technical engagement component of the sales process.
- Collaborate with marketing to create a roadmap of technical papers and presentations.
- Partner with the executive team to form strategic partnerships with service and tool providers.
