- 4+ years of focused experience in application security, vulnerability research, and penetration testing.
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities using custom-built tooling.
- Hands-on experience using AI agents and frameworks for continuous vulnerability discovery.
- Ability to write and maintain code across the full software stack.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers on secure coding and security practices.
- Experience balancing security requirements with business and clinical needs.
- Understanding of risk management in software systems impacting patient care.
Responsibilities
- Actively hunt for and remediate security vulnerabilities within the core product platform.
- Develop custom tools and scripts to simulate real-world attacks and vulnerability discovery.
- Harden infrastructure, services, and endpoints, and establish comprehensive security monitoring.
- Safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) and audit data deidentification practices.
- Leverage AI frameworks to scale vulnerability research while maintaining secure guardrails.
- Conduct security reviews of critical pull requests and mentor engineers in secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with site reliability, engineering leadership, and corporate security teams on defensive strategies.
