Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience in U.S.-based companies, with a focus on Accounts Receivable and Revenue Operations.
- Proven experience managing the full billing cycle (estimate-to-cash) in project-based or job-costed environments.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
- Familiarity with insurance billing processes, including insurance estimates, supplements, and payment structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills to reconcile financial discrepancies.
- Experience with process improvements and automation in fast-growing, trade-based businesses.
- Professional fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Construction, roofing, or field services experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with tools like JobNimbus, AccuLynx, CompanyCam, Xactimate, Slack, Google Workspace, Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, or ClickUp is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end revenue operations from estimate to cash, including project-based invoicing and progress billings.
- Reconcile discrepancies by reviewing invoices against signed contracts, insurance estimates, and supplemental approvals.
- Manage collections by responding to and following up with homeowners, commercial clients, and insurance carriers regarding payments.
- Support revenue reporting by tracking job costing and reviewing project-level financial summaries.
- Optimize finance systems such as QuickBooks Online and JobNimbus while implementing process improvements and automation.
- Communicate billing and payment status updates clearly to project managers, field crews, and external stakeholders.
