Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in software or network engineering.
- Proven experience building network automation at scale, ideally for large cloud or AI-infrastructure operators.
- Extensive experience building end-to-end Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) or device-provisioning systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and/or Go, including testing, CI/CD, and code review.
- Hands-on expertise with datacenter Clos fabrics, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, and RoCEv2/RDMA.
- Proficiency with modern network automation technologies including gNMI/gNOI, OpenConfig/YANG, and NETCONF.
- Experience with source-of-truth systems (e.g., NetBox, Nautobot) and network OS platforms (e.g., SONiC, FRR).
- Familiarity with network automation tools such as Nornir, NAPALM, or Ansible.
- Experience with observability pipelines (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, OpenTelemetry).
- Comfort deploying and running services on Kubernetes and containers.
- Leadership experience as a technical owner or team lead.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end ZTP pipeline from bare-metal boot to production-ready fabric.
- Build intent-based configuration generation using source-of-truth systems like NetBox or Nautobot.
- Establish network validation and pre-deployment testing using digital-twin or snapshot tools.
- Develop streaming telemetry and logging pipelines for fabric health monitoring using gNMI and OpenConfig.
- Instrument and monitor GPU network-specific metrics including RoCE health, optics, and link errors.
- Design self-service APIs and dashboards to improve network team deployment velocity.
- Hire, mentor, and lead a small team of software engineers and SREs while contributing code.
- Define technical standards and integrate platform tools with existing infrastructure and observability stacks.
