Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance operations or accounting.
- At least 2–3 years in a team management role.
- Proven experience managing multi-entity accounting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Hands-on experience with Xero, including multi-currency and multi-entity workflows.
- Strong command of accounting principles (IFRS/MFRS), financial controls, and compliance.
- Track record of owning and improving month-end close processes.
- Experience working with external auditors and managing statutory reporting obligations.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth company environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end month-end close process across all entities within 10 working days.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Maintain the general ledger across multiple entities in Xero.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking reconciliations.
- Manage tax filing obligations and coordinate with external auditors for statutory reporting.
- Design and implement financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
- Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of three Finance Accountants.
