Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, preferably within a DSP, SSP, exchange, or ad tech platform environment.
- Significant experience leading operational, technical account management, platform operations, or programmatic operations teams at scale.
- Deep understanding of DSP integrations, auction dynamics, supply-path optimization, traffic shaping, QPS management, and deal ecosystems.
- Proven track record of building scalable operational frameworks and improving platform performance.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including experience with BI tools and operational reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Exchange, and Operations teams.
- Strong people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and leadership development.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-moving, technical environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead OpenX’s Global DSP Operations team across operational performance, technical scalability, and supply competitiveness.
- Own operational health and performance across DSP partnerships, including bid rates, win rates, QPS efficiency, and deal adoption.
- Drive scalable operational models that improve DSP performance and reduce operational fragmentation.
- Establish prioritization frameworks across Enterprise, Strategic Growth, and Long Tail DSP segments.
- Partner with DSPs to improve auction dynamics, supply quality, and overall marketplace competitiveness.
- Serve as the senior operational escalation point for DSP integration health and platform scalability.
- Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed DSP Operations team.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize operational tooling, automation, and infrastructure improvements.
