Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in lending operations, banking, mortgage administration, financial services, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • Knowledge of mortgage advances, tax processes, lending products, and operational procedures.
  • Experience with quality control processes, transaction verification, internal audits, or similar operational review activities.
  • Experience preparing productivity, quality, and performance reports.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and operational controls.
  • Proficiency with business systems and technology tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver day-to-day support for mortgage lending operations, including loan administration, servicing activities, payment processing, transaction requests, and stakeholder inquiries.
  • Oversee tax-related activities and mortgage advance processes while ensuring accuracy and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile documentation and loan information to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Perform quality control activities, transaction verification, internal audits, and calibration reviews using relevant tools and processes.
  • Monitor operational performance, productivity, and quality metrics while preparing monthly reports and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements, new systems, and operational changes.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, acting as a resource for problem-solving and operational questions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve service level objectives.
