Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience, including experience as a technical leader or similar role.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, including query optimization, database object design, and scalable database development.
- Deep understanding of Oracle APEX security practices, including authentication, authorization, role-based access control, session management, and secure coding principles.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizing modern Oracle APEX applications.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs, SOAP services, Oracle Integration Cloud, and related technologies.
- Ability to define application architecture, technical standards, and development best practices.
- Experience leading technical teams, conducting design and code reviews, and mentoring engineers.
- Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and Agile software development practices.
- Excellent collaboration skills and professional fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Oracle APEX developers through the design, development, deployment, and support lifecycle of enterprise applications.
- Define technical standards, development practices, and architectural approaches for Oracle APEX solutions.
- Act as a technical authority on Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and related technologies.
- Design scalable application architectures, data models, security frameworks, and integration strategies.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and functional teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Develop and enhance Oracle APEX applications while applying UI/UX principles and database best practices.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, Oracle Integration Cloud, and other enterprise integration technologies.
- Conduct code reviews, technical assessments, effort estimations, and risk analysis throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Drive adoption of Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, automated deployments, testing strategies, and secure development processes.
