Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in network administration, network engineering, or automation with senior-level responsibility.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco network infrastructure (configuration, troubleshooting, and support).
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS and command-line configuration.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Strong expertise in network automation, orchestration, SDN, and NFV.
- Experience integrating automation solutions with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience working with multi-cloud environments and modern infrastructure automation methodologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for designing scalable solutions.
- Ability to obtain required DHS Suitability security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network automation solutions to streamline provisioning, configuration, and operational management.
- Automate Cisco IOS-based network device configurations, deployments, and change management processes.
- Develop, test, and maintain production-quality automation scripts and workflows using Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Integrate network automation processes with CI/CD pipelines to accelerate infrastructure deployment and updates.
- Implement software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) solutions.
- Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to support multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Optimize network workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance automation processes and network performance.
- Create and maintain documentation covering automation workflows and technical standards.
