Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Channel Sales, or Strategic Partnerships within the HealthTech or Life Sciences data sectors.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas through indirect/channel motions.
- Deep expertise in Real-World Data (RWD) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) applications throughout the drug development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Familiarity with the RWD landscape, specifically in Oncology and at least one other specialty (Ophthalmology, Urology, or Neurology).
- Existing, high-level relationships within the 'Big 5' CROs and major Life Science consulting/data firms.
- Understanding of health data infrastructure, including tokenization, de-identification, and HIPAA compliance.
- Strategic storytelling ability to turn complex datasets into compelling commercial narratives.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a 'builder' mentality.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time to partner sites and industry conferences.
Responsibilities
- Advance the company’s partner programs including managing a high-performance channel strategy.
- Identify, recruit, and manage a portfolio of high-value partners to meet and exceed indirect sales targets.
- Act as the primary evangelist for Verana’s data assets, creating resources and training programs that empower partners.
- Lead negotiations for data-sharing, white-labeling, and integrated service agreements with global CROs and data aggregators.
- Drive new partner technology and data strategies while collaborating with Product to fuel revenue growth.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Legal teams to ensure partner alignment and effective co-promotion.
- Track channel performance metrics and pipeline health for executive leadership.
- Cultivate existing partner relationships and manage agreement renewals.
