Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or crisis management.
  • Proven track record operating at a principal or senior manager level within a global technology company.
  • Deep, hands-on experience managing highly confidential communications around M&A, restructuring, and legal actions.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and poise under pressure when influencing C-suite executives and legal counsel.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
  • Masterful storytelling and writing capabilities with the ability to distill complex nuances into clear narratives.
  • Proven ability to ghostwrite in the voice of diverse leaders with limited advance notice.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted right-hand to communications leadership while executing tactical work.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Internal Communications Lead to co-architect the global internal communications strategy.
  • Serve as the primary internal liaison for the PR/External Comms team during crises and strategic projects.
  • Own end-to-end communication strategy for sensitive corporate scenarios including legal, ethics, and security incidents.
  • Lead communications for complex corporate structural changes such as M&A and organizational redesigns.
  • Develop framework-driven messaging for complex political and social issues.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, HR, Security, and Corporate Affairs to ensure unified, compliant narratives.
  • Provide executive ghostwriting for the CFO and support finance-specific internal communication needs.
  • Support broader internal communications team initiatives such as All Hands and campaigns during non-crisis periods.
