Requirements
- Proven experience designing, building, and scaling high‑performance backend systems in Python.
- Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling, including frameworks such as Next.js and TanStack.
- Comfort owning the full lifecycle of a feature: from discovery and technical design to implementation, rollout, and iterative improvement.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with data pipeline architecture, analytics, and geolocation‑based access controls.
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements including AML, KYC, and data privacy.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- A bias toward action, first principles thinking, and product awareness.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end features across backend services and frontend applications, from data models and APIs in Python to responsive interfaces in React and TypeScript.
- Build scalable, resilient APIs and backend components that support web, mobile, and third‑party integrations, with a focus on performance, observability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain user-facing features in React and Next.js, optimizing for responsiveness, performance, and cross-device compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, security, compliance, and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to and evolve our component library and design system.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that power analytics, fraud detection, geolocation, and regulatory reporting.
- Champion performance, security, and compliance across the stack.
- Participate in incident response, monitoring, and root‑cause analysis.
- Mentor and support other engineers, sharing best practices and reviewing code.
- Influence product direction by thinking from first principles about user experience and business impact.
