Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience developing applications as part of a collaborative engineering team.
- Strong full-stack development experience with both frontend and backend technologies.
- Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience designing and developing backend services, APIs, and scalable software solutions using Java or similar backend technologies.
- Understanding of micro-frontend architecture principles and modern web application design patterns.
- Experience with GitHub Actions workflows and software development automation practices.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects, manage ambiguity, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, code quality, version control, and code review processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to mentor engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications that support key customer-facing digital experiences.
- Build reusable React components, backend services, APIs, and infrastructure improvements while following modern software engineering practices.
- Contribute to the evolution of micro-frontend architecture and help modernize existing applications using current technologies and standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions by collaborating with product teams, stakeholders, and engineering partners.
- Lead team-level projects by defining goals, managing technical deliverables, communicating progress, and driving successful outcomes.
- Participate actively in product strategy discussions, technical planning, prioritization, and solution design.
- Deliver high-quality features, enhancements, and technical improvements while maintaining application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Improve application observability, monitoring, and operational excellence through effective engineering practices.
- Participate in code reviews by providing constructive feedback and supporting knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices around software development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
