Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with government security compliance frameworks.
- Direct involvement in at least two of: IRAP (Australia), ISMAP (Japan), FedRAMP (US), or equivalent.
- Fluency with Information Security Manual (ISM) control framework, Essential Eight, and PSPF.
- Deep understanding of ISMAP framework (ISO/IEC 27001 based) and ISMAP-LIU.
- Proven experience coordinating with regional government assessors and managing assessment findings.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud security controls.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, logging, and incident response.
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to develop control narratives.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall roadmap for obtaining and maintaining IRAP authorizations in Australia.
- Lead registration and compliance for Japan's ISMAP government cloud certification program.
- Manage relationships with ASD-endorsed IRAP assessors and JASA-registered ISMAP assessors.
- Develop comprehensive compliance documentation mapping architecture to IRAP and ISMAP requirements.
- Operate continuous assurance programs and track framework updates.
- Identify, prioritize, and remediate findings from security assessments.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams on system modifications impacting compliance.
- Design and maintain library of compliance evidence and audit trails.
- Automate compliance workflows and improve evidence collection efficiency.
