Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, integration engineer, or solution architect.
- Expert-level command of Python, REST APIs, and Webhooks.
- Deep architectural knowledge of scalable, event-driven integration patterns using data streaming (e.g., Kafka, PubSub).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong skills in SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and modern data pipeline tooling.
- Experience developing highly scalable solutions leveraging modern Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Experienced working with Modern Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders including executives.
- Excellent consultative skills with experience in end-to-end system implementations.
- Proficient in leveraging LLM-based tools like Cursor and Codex for code generation and workflow enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of enterprise-grade, scalable solutions using Samsara's web integration technologies including APIs, Webhooks, and connectors.
- Take full ownership of high-impact, high-risk projects from design through configuration, delivery, and operational support.
- Act as a technical lead, mentoring engineers to establish foundational standards for enterprise-level integrations.
- Serve as the vital link between customers and internal Product/Engineering teams to relay feedback and align roadmaps.
- Leverage AI-driven workflows and modern technologies to optimize the team's efficiency and technical stack.
- Create customer-facing launch plans and roadmaps, and own internal initiatives to improve operational efficiency and process automation.
- Review and provide actionable feedback on code while advocating for customer experience and best practices.
