Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience performing detailed and data-intensive reconciliations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA license preferred.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Crypto accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Experience with GSuite and Mac OSX preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close by preparing OPEX accruals, prepaid schedules, expense allocations, payroll journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Treasury, FP&A, Legal and People to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation and offering necessary explanations.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and internal controls.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including flux analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and improve accounting workpapers to support financial analysis, reporting, and process automation.
- Own end-to-end Accounts Payable, including vendor setup, purchase order issuance and invoice matching, invoice processing, and weekly AP payment cycles.
- Review GL coding on T&E and credit card transactions and attach supporting documentation as needed.
